We support you across the entire chain: design and engineering, tooling, manufacturing, machining, surface finishing and the metrological verification of the finished part.

This breadth is a deliberate choice. With composite parts, manufacturability is decided at the design stage – laminate build-up, draft angles and tooling concepts can hardly be corrected afterwards. Because development and production sit under one roof at Wethje, manufacturing knowledge feeds into the design from the very beginning. That shortens development loops and spares you costly changes during industrialisation.

More than forty years of experience in processing composite materials stand behind this. As part of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group, we are also embedded in a corporate group that covers the value chain for carbon fibre reinforced plastics from fibre to finished part.
