For more than 45 years, Wethje has been processing composite materials into components for technically demanding applications. Today the focus lies on aerospace and defense – fields in which every kilogram saved translates directly into range, payload and operational capability, and which at the same time place the highest demands on traceability and reproducible series quality.

Since 2018 the company has been a wholly owned part of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group. The expansion of the Pleinting plant, which brings together the entire process chain from engineering to quality assurance at a single site, stands for the company’s current growth and forms the basis for future expansion.
